So apparently you can contribute to the blog as a "contributor." Unless this doesn't show up, and in that case you can't, and nobody is reading this anyway so it doesn't matter if I was wrong.
When you log in, doesn't it give you the Dashboard screen? From there, it's pretty easy to post. Just click the little plus button that says New Post. Can you get to the dashboard? I don't see why it would matter if you have your OWN blog or not; if you're a contributer to THIS blog, you should be able to make posts, etc. I think the difference is that, when you sign up from the main page, you start your own blog right away, and when you sign up through the invitation that Prof. Brewer sent, perhaps using your Google account, you only sign up to work on THIS blog. If it's any other way, I don't think I understand it.
